The Barrier-Support Matrix

Our formula is inspired by the skin’s natural lipid structure. Dry, reactive skin often lacks the natural oils (lipids) required to keep the barrier strong. By utilizing plant lipids that are similar to your own skin make up, we provide the hydration your barrier needs to remain resilient. 

Chickweed (Stellaria media): Traditionally used for its cooling and soothing properties. It is exceptionally rich in mucilage, a sugar-based compound that supports the skin barrier, moisturising and hydrating skin while easing the discomfort associated with dry, itchy skin.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis): A herb traditionally utilized to soothe and comfort inflammatory skin states, valued for its ability to support compromised tissue and natural skin health.

Rice Bran & Sunflower Oils: These provide a hypoallergenic, fatty-acid-rich base. Unlike heavy mineral oils, these plant lipids absorb smoothly into the skin matrix, promoting natural sebum balance to strengthen the skin’s natural moisture barrier and ease flaking.

Plant-Based Glycerin: A naturally derived humectant that helps attract and retain moisture within the skin’s outer layers, leaving the complexion feeling hydrated, soft, and comfortably supple.
