The addition of guluronic acid guarantees the dressing’s integrity, allowing for easy removal from wounds in one piece with minimal residue, supporting efficient wound care. Meanwhile, the dressing’s highly absorbent mannuronic acid allows it to effectively manage heavily exuding wounds, making it appropriate for a wide range of wound types, including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, cavity wounds, skin donor sites, abrasions, lacerations, post-surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, and superficial and partial thickness burns.
