Mepitel® is a sterile, double-sided soft silicone wound contact layer designed to protect the wound while minimising pain and trauma during dressing changes. Its open mesh structure allows exudate to pass through into an appropriate secondary absorbent dressing.

For exuding wounds, cover with an appropriate absorbent secondary dressing. The secondary dressing can be changed while Mepitel® remains in place where clinically appropriate.
