What is Bio-Garlic?
Garlic is a member of the onion family, used as a source of sulphur containing substances, which have beneficial effects within the body.

Pharma Nord Bio-Garlic

Our Garlic tablets each contain 300mg of dried garlic powder, equivalent to 4.7mg of the active compound (alliin) in an enterically coated form to ensure maximum bio-availability.

When the active compound comes into contact with the enzyme alliinase, the substance allicin forms. Allicin garlic gives garlic its characteristic odor. Our Garlic supplements are odourless garlic tablets, preserving the active ingredients and their enzyme activity from the fresh garlic in manufacturing.

When the garlic tablets fully dissolve in the intestine, the garlic enzyme allinase activates and converts the alliin to allicin garlic, thereby reducing the risk of garlic breath significantly. Furthermore, the delayed dissolution of the garlic tablets mean that the alliin and alliinase content isn’t broken down and inactivated in the stomach.
