Calprofen Ibuprofen Suspension Sugar Free (200ml Bottle)

Calprofen Ibuprofen Suspension Sugar Free (200ml Bottle): is an ibuprofen-only medicine, which starts to work on a fever in just 15 minutes and lasts for up to 8 hours. 

Calprofen is an effective treatment for pain and fever, and is suitable for children aged 3 months plus. It can help relieve muscular pain, headache, earache and backache. It is also suitable for reducing the discomfort and inflammation of minor injuries such as sprains and strains. 

How to take Calprofen Ibuprofen Sugar Free Suspension 3 Months+:

• Post immunisation fever: 2.5ml followed by one further dose of 2.5ml six hours later if necessary.
• 3-6 months weighing more than 5kg: 2.5ml 3 times in 24 hours. 
• 1-2 years: 2.5ml 3-4 times a day.
• 3-7 years: 5ml 3-4 times a day. 
• Children 8-12 years: 10ml 3-4 times daily.

For all the dosage information above please remember:


Do not give to children under 3 months.


Do not give to children aged 6 months and older for more than 3 days.


If symptoms last for more than 24 hours in children 3-6 months, or more than 3 days in children over 6 months, seek medical advice.

Cautions & Precautions to be aware of before using this product:

• You should make sure that you carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.
• Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Do not give this product if your baby or child has ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding, is allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredient of this product, aspirin or related painkillers or is taking NSAID painkillers, or aspirin with a daily dose of over 75mg.
• Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before giving the product if your baby or child has asthma, liver, heart, kidney or bowel problems.
• If you are an adult taking this product do not take in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking in the first 6 months of pregnancy or if you are trying to get pregnant.

Ingredients:

Each 5ml of oral suspension contains 100mg Ibuprofen. Also contains E965, E219 and E217.
