Indications

• Broad spectrum antibiotic for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by chloramphenicol-susceptible organisms

• Active against a wide range of bacteria, including:

  • Escherichia coli

  • Haemophilus influenzae

  • Staphylococcus aureus

  • Streptococcus haemolyticus

  • Morax-Axenfeld

  • Klebsiella/Enterobacter species

  • And other susceptible organisms
