Dermacool is specially formulated to help relieve irritation while remaining Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) free. It hydrates and moisturises your skin whilst creating a cooling effect. It provides relief from skin conditions like dermatitis, eczema, insect bites, prickly heat, sunburn and hives.

Dermacool Menthol Aqueous Cream 2% cools, calms and provides instant relief from a variety of skin conditions like dermatitis, eczema, insect bites, prickly heat, sunburn and hives. It is specially formulated for those with irritated skin and differs from other aqueous creams thanks to its 2% menthol content. This particular ingredient triggers the cold receptors in the skin in order to provide a cooling and soothing relief. It also works to restore natural moisture levels in the skin to prevent it from becoming dehydrated and dry.
How to use
Apply a thin layer of Dermacool to clean, dry skin and massage thoroughly into affected areas. Apply as often as necessary.
Not recommended for children under 12 years of age unless approved by doctor.
Do not apply to the face, especially the nose, upper lip or oral mucosa of infants or young children.

“I bought this primarily as a kick for the vagus nerve as menthol is reportedly a stimulus to the system. Short of swimming in the North Sea in winter or taking an ice cold shower this looked like a great option. What I wasn’t persuaded of was the anti-itch claims. Well, I was soon proven unfairly sceptical! This works to calm the itch of dermatitis & insect bites really well. It’s not immediate but it does work within 10-15 minutes & has gone some way to even eliminating a persistent contact dermatitis on my hands. Used it on insect bites, & as a cooling aid for the hot weather. Highly recommend on a lot of counts. Worth it.”
