Fybogel Lemon contains 3.5g ispaghula husk per sachet and is used when a high-fibre regimen is required, including for relief of constipation and maintenance of regularity. The fibre absorbs water and increases stool bulk to help support normal bowel function.

Directions
Adults and children over 12 years: take one sachet in the morning and one in the evening. Empty the sachet into approximately 150ml cold water, stir well and drink immediately, preferably after meals. Take at least 30–60 minutes before or after other medicines and do not take immediately before going to sleep. Children aged 6–12 years require a lower dose; refer to the leaflet. Not recommended under 6 years.
Ingredients
Each sachet contains 3.5g ispaghula husk. Other ingredients include potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, riboflavine sodium phosphate, aspartame (E951), lemon flavour, saccharin sodium, polysorbate 80 and silica colloidal anhydrous.
Safety Information
Do not take if allergic to ispaghula husk, if you have difficulty swallowing, a bowel obstruction, faecal impaction, or a sudden change in bowel habit lasting more than two weeks. Contains aspartame, a source of phenylalanine. Drink with adequate fluid. Seek medical advice if there has been no bowel movement after three days.
