Ginkgo Biloba

Ginkgo biloba is one of the most studied botanicals in the world and one of the oldest tree species on earth, with a fossil record dating back over 200 million years. Our tablets use a high-strength 50:1 leaf extract — concentrating 6,000mg of Ginkgo leaf into 120mg of extract per tablet.

Importantly, the extract is standardised to two markers used as the industry benchmark for Ginkgo quality:

• 24% ginkgo flavone glycosides (28.8mg per tablet)
• 6% terpene lactones (7.2mg per tablet)

These are the characteristic compound groups found in Ginkgo biloba leaves, and standardisation ensures every tablet delivers the same quantity of these phytochemicals — something that varies significantly between unstandardised products.

Ginkgo biloba sits within EFSA’s transitional “on hold” category for botanical health claims, so we do not make specific functional claims about it. It is used as a traditional herbal supplement.

Important: If you take blood-thinning medication or anti-platelet drugs (including aspirin), consult your doctor before supplementing with Ginkgo. Discontinue use at least two weeks before any planned surgery.

Made in the UK to GMP standards. Take one to two tablets daily with a meal.
