Hellebores in Pheasant Jug’ by Susie Hamilton In the late winter, it’s such a joy to spot a hellebore. Although hardy, I think they are also quite shy, with their little faces cast downwards.
Β It’s so rare in February to see such strong colors: mulberry, wine, buttermilk, and lime. The hellebore petals are so pretty, some patterns like freckles, others like polka dots. I particularly like the delicate edging of this Burleigh jug and the pheasant hiding amongst the foliage.
A high-quality art print of an original acrylic gouache painting. Beautifully printed on museum quality 350 gsm sustainably sourced art paper.Β
