Balms/salves are a simple combination of herbal infused oil and beeswax to create a semi-solid and easy to apply remedy. They are nourishing and moisturizing to the skin as well as carrying the properties of the herbs.
These are made with herbs grown, harvested and dried by me, which are then infused in oil for a month, and then combined with locally sourced beeswax to create the finished balm.
- Comfrey is traditionally used for supporting, healing and strengthening muscles, bone and tissues. Not recommended for use on deep wounds.
- St Johns wort with lavender essential oil has been used as a topical skin and burn healing remedy, and for muscle and nerve aches and pains including shingles and sciatica
- Arnica can be used for muscular aches and pains, as well as bumps and bruises. Not recommended for use on broken skin.
- Calendula is tradionally used for skin healing including cuts, scratches, fungal issues, burns, bites and rashes,
