Hollister Adapt Lubricating Deodorant is a two-in-one ostomy pouch lubricant and odour neutraliser designed for use with drainable and closed faecal stoma pouches.

The lubricating action coats the inside of the pouch, helping stoma output move towards the bottom of the pouch rather than sticking around the stoma or upper pouch area. This can make emptying easier and help reduce pancaking, pouch static and sticking.

At the same time, Adapt Lubricating Deodorant helps neutralise odour inside the pouch. It is not a perfume or fragrance designed to mask odour and is itself colourless and odourless.

Directions:

Apply Adapt Lubricating Deodorant inside the ostomy pouch according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

After applying the product, gently rub or distribute it around the inside walls of the pouch so that the internal surface is coated.

Apply the pouch as normal.

Adapt Lubricating Deodorant may be used with each pouch change.

For drainable pouches, additional product may be added after the pouch has been emptied to restore lubrication and odour control.

The product may come into contact with the stoma during normal use.

Important information:
