Safe & Sound Health Rigid Digital Thermometer is a simple digital thermometer for measuring body temperature in adults and children.

It features a rigid probe and clear digital display and can be used to take oral, underarm or rectal temperature readings. The thermometer displays readings in either Celsius or Fahrenheit and remembers the previous temperature reading when switched on.

Directions

Before first use, clean the thermometer probe thoroughly.

For an oral temperature reading:

1. Switch the thermometer on.

2. The previous temperature reading will briefly appear on the display if the thermometer has been used before.

3. Wait until the °C or °F symbol flashes, indicating that the thermometer is ready.

4. Place the probe tip under the tongue and close the mouth.

5. Keep the thermometer in position until it beeps to indicate that the measurement is complete.

6. Remove the thermometer and read the temperature on the digital display.

7. Clean the probe after use and replace the protective cover.

For underarm or rectal measurements, follow the instructions supplied with the thermometer.
