Safe & Sound Health Temporary Tooth Filling is a ready-to-use temporary dental filling material designed to replace a lost filling until you can visit a dentist.

The zinc oxide-based material is easy to mould and can be packed into a suitable cavity to provide a short-term temporary filling. The 3g pack contains enough material for approximately 10 temporary fillings.

Directions

1. Make sure the cavity is as clean as possible before application.

2. Place a small amount of filling material into the cavity.

3. Gently bite into position, or use the supplied spatula to pack the material into the cavity.

4. Do not overfill. The jaws should be able to close normally without the opposite teeth pressing excessively on the temporary filling.

5. Allow the material to set and avoid biting, chewing or touching the material with your tongue for approximately 15 minutes.

6. Seek professional dental treatment as soon as possible.

If the material becomes firm in the container at low temperatures, warm the closed container in your hand before use.

• Seek dental advice as soon as possible after application

• Do not leave the temporary filling in place for more than 28 days

• The material is not an adhesive and will not bond to the tooth

• The cavity must have sufficient shape or undercut to hold the material securely once hardened

• Do not overfill the cavity, as excessive pressure when biting may cause the filling to crumble

• Do not use for very large or very painful cavities without seeking dental advice

• Do not return unused material that has been removed from the container back into the pack

• Replace the cap securely after use
