Will the nuts stay crunchy?
The nuts gradually soften slightly as they sit in the honey, which many people prefer. Give the jar a gentle stir before serving to bring the nuts back through the honey.
The honey has gone thick or cloudy – is that normal?
Yes. Natural honey can crystallise over time. Stand the closed jar in warm (not hot) water for a few minutes to loosen it.
How should I store it?
Keep the lid tightly closed and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate. Always use a clean, dry spoon.
Is it suitable for children?
Not for children under 12 months, as honey should never be given to infants. Whole nuts are a choking risk for young children, so we don’t recommend it for children under 5.
