Tellicherry is a premium grade of black pepper, made from only the largest, ripest berries (4.25 mm or bigger), hand harvested on the Malabar coast of Kerala, India. The flavour is more nuanced than standard pepper: citrusy, woody and slightly fruity, with a warm, robust heat. It won a 1-Star Great Taste Award in 2025.
Grind it fresh to keep its aromatic oils. It is lovely on steaks and roasts, in sauces and marinades, and as a finishing touch or in spice blends. Organic, Vegan and Vegetarian, from 100g to 1kg.
