- 100mcg of Vitamin K2 as MK-7 in the all-trans configuration per tablet
- Standard daily dose used in long-term K2 supplementation
- Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones
-
Vitamin K2 as MK-7 (menaquinone-7) is the longest-acting form of vitamin K, with a half-life of several days in the bloodstream. At 100mcg per tablet, this is a standard daily dose suitable for long-term, sustainable supplementation — distinct from our higher-strength 500mcg MK-7 product for those seeking a higher dose.
The MK-7 we use is in the all-trans configuration, the biologically active form. Some MK-7 ingredients available on the market contain a mixture of all-trans and inactive cis isomers; standardising on all-trans means the full labelled 100mcg is in the form the body can use.
Approved EFSA Health Claims for Vitamin K:
- Contributes to the maintenance of normal bones
- Contributes to normal blood clotting
Important: If you take anticoagulant medication (such as warfarin), consult your doctor before supplementing with Vitamin K in any form.
