Description
From soft shades of yellow to vibrant tones, quince are a delight for the taste buds and a rich source of minerals for the body. To obtain this product whole quince pieces are combined with acacia honey as well as a dash of geranium, to achieve a truly unique flavour. The Bereczki variety of quince is used, which has a sweet slightly acidic flavour and comes from Nișcov in the Buzau area.
The product is one of a kind and truly delicious. It is ideal for breakfast with yoghurt, cereal, pancakes or simply a slice of bread. Or as an indulgent sweet treat straight from the jar. Once you’ve tried it we are sure you will be back for another jar or to try another flavour.
Melinis use advanced crystallisation technology to create this product, which allows for the combination or fusion of the quince pieces with natural acacia honey at temperatures below 35 degrees. This allows for the fruits to stay whole and keep all of their nutritional properties and vitamins, it also enhances the aroma and flavour of the fruits.
Quince are some of the most fragrant fruits and they ensure a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet. These miracle fruits are a rich source of vitamin A, B and C, fibre and minerals such as potassium, zinc, calcium, iron, phosphorus and magnesium.
